The Bauer Series HML is a hydrostatical fully balanced hydraulic radial piston motor providing high torque at low speeds. The HML series consists of two different motor volumes at one frame size, the HML5-1.0 and HML5-1.4. Displacement volumes available at 1.0 and 1.4 litre/rev.
Due to the large diameter shaft and heavy parallel roller bearings, these motors are particularly suited for small direct drive winch applications as well as applications where the load is working on a free end shaft.
Now also available with a patented freewheeling system, HV341, making the motors particularly suited for gear box applications: When activating the freewheeling mode of one or several such motors, the change in speed can be done smoothly while the winch is loaded and running without experiencing any pressure shocks.
A high oil pressure in the motor casing, up to 80 bar, is allowed often making it possible to use internal drains, hence money is saved from costly pipe work.
Various mountings to match competitor’s interfaces are available.
