As part of the Imenco group, Manoda supplies sacrificial anodes in the form of zinc, aluminum, and environmental anodes as well as special casting and machining. We also supply hollow bars and various other products, as well as machining services. From primarily supplying to fisheries and shipyards in Northern Norway, MANODA now delivers to other regions in Norway and in other sectors such as transport, oil industry and renewable energy.
MANODA was founded in 1947 under the name Marcussen’s Metal Foundry by Johan Schjelderup Marcussen. Initially, castings in brass and bronze were the company’s main products, and eventually also machining, as well as castings in aluminum. In the 1980s, zinc anodes began to be manufactured, which today – together with aluminum anodes – is the company’s main product.
The company moved into a new and modern building in 2010.
In 2019 Manoda became part of the Imenco group of companies.
