Good welfare for cleaning fish is good economics
There are enormous amounts of cleaner fish at work in the farming industry, and the cleaner fish’s welfare is getting an ever-increasing focus. Cleaning fish represents great value in purchasing, and good fish welfare is crucial for survival, well-being and, not least, efficiency when performing the cleaning fish’s task.
The idea for SeaNest came about when we saw that habitat for cleaner fish could be created with better and more efficient solutions.
Effective lice control
SeaNest is a cleaning fish shelter that provides cleaning fish with good conditions. Not only is this required by law, but when the cleaner fish have good living conditions, you also get more effective lice control in the cage.
SeaNest has been developed with a material that makes it easy for the cleaner fish to attach and gives the cleaner fish the necessary rest.
Easy to handle
SeaNest is designed as a compact folding system that extends 7.5 or 10 meters (option) deep when in use in the cage and builds less than half a meter when folded.
SeaNest is therefore easy to clean, transport, store and, not least, take out and take in from the cage.
Focus on the environment
SeaNest is built to create a better environment for cleaner fish and avoid marine litter. Therefore, SeaNest has no loose plastic parts and adds no chemicals to the sea.
