The OE12-132 surface control unit has been designed specifically for interfacing with the OE range of cameras and lamps; whilst they are deployed subsea.
The OE12-132 surface control unit provides a regulated 24 VDC, 1.5A and 110 VAC, 300W power output via a 17-pin connector situated on the rear of the unit. The OE12-132 surface control unit incorporates a user- friendly push button interface for tri-state control of OE camera functions, alternatively a 9 pin ‘D’ type connector is available on the rear of the unit for GUI (graphical user interface) control via RS485 comms. A BNC type connector is fitted for transmission of a composite video signal to an external monitor. A rotary dial is present on the front of the unit for dimming control of AC halogen lamps.
The OE12-132 has an integrated LIM (line insulation monitor) feature which meets IMCA / AODC requirements for the safe use of electricity underwater, ensuring maximum protection for diver and surface operator alike.
