Oil major operators in Malaysia’s offshore have increased activities in both explorations & productions of gas & crude oil. Companies such as Conoco-Phillips, PETRONAS Carigali, ExxonMobil Exploration & Production, Newfield Inc., Murphy Oil, Talisman Energy, Nippon Oil & Hess are increasing activities from Malaysia’s offshore blocks. In view of the presence of these oil companies, contractors such as Cameron set up a manufacturing facility in Port of Tanjong Pelepas (PTP) in Johor which is approx 360km south of Kuala Lumpur. The facility by Cameron is to served the growing O&G activities for Malaysia & Asia-Pacific region.
