Showcasing almost the entire current Imenco electronic range including with several new products, the Imenco stand attracted considerable interest from the subsea, diving, environmental survey and scientific communities. Of particular interest were the three new products launched at the show, the HD-SDi Horn Shark camera, the small SEA LED 35 lights, and the larger SEA LED 300L strip floodlight.
Offering 1080/60p output the Horn Shark is a fixed focus colour camera designed for small ROV or divers to use. It was an instant hit. Weighing only 305 grams in air, with a diameter of 40mm and a length of 126mm (Ex Con), the hard anodised Aluminium housing rated to 1000msw obviously fits many operational requirements.
The Horn Shark is complimented by the new small SEA LED 35 spot lights, again designed to be used on small ROVs or by divers either singularly or in pairs.
The SEA LED 300L strip floodlight, rated to 3000msw has been designed for pipeline scanning in conjunction with cameras, or to be fitted into the channels of larger observation or work class ROV’s, providing users with light output of 15,000 lumen, 50,000 hours LED life expectancy, variable light beam angles and intensity controlled either by voltage, RS232 or RS485 comms.
