The Repair Clamp belongs to PRS Pool and is a part of a contingency tool assembly for temporary pipeline repair scenarios. The Clamp was originally delivered as a diver operated tool, but due to increase in operational depth, beyond diving range, the tool has been equipped with additional features for remote operation.
The Repair Clamp is originally delivered from Oil States Industries Inc. in Houston and has been converted to remote operation by Statoil, using local companies.Imenco will dismantle the tool and the clamp and update the Control Systems and Mechanical Components.
