Norwegian Universal Technology, as a part of Imenco group, has signed a major contract with Dräger in Germany for delivery of diving system to DSV Havilia Acergy. The contract has a value of MNOK. 90-100 and delivery is planned in 2010. N.U.T will deliver and install a complete diving control centre, hyperbaric lifeboat, handling system for the diving dome, recycling unit for gas, warm water system for the divers and “lifelines” between diver and diving dome. Mr. Severin Sivertsen says that the contract is a supplement to two other main contracts for delivery in 2009. To be able to for fill these contracts efficiently we will increase the staff within mechanical/electronics, and look for better production facilities. With these contracts we will have work through year 2010 both for N.U.T and Imenco employees. Mr. Geir Egil Østebøvik, CEO at Imenco, points out that several new contracts could come within the next month, which will increase our demand for technical staff. We have exciting and challenging work for a long time says Mr. Østebøvik.
