The Imenco group recently celebrated 40 years as a supplier of “Smart Solutions” to the Ocean Industries. The company is organized in 3 business areas: Offshore Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and Aquaculture.
Our main office is located in Aksdal near Haugesund, Norway, engineering locations in Aksdal and Aberdeen, manufacturing facilities in Aksdal, Wick (Scotland) and Ningbo (China). Our sales team works out from Aksdal, Bergen, Aberdeen, Lafayette and Singapore with agents in many other areas. Imenco employs a well-qualified staff of 300 employees spread over our different offices.
We are looking for a new team member.
Imenco Engineering Projects is the mechanical and automation design department in Imenco, collaborating with all main business areas within the Imenco sphere.
At Imenco Engineering Projects we are 20 engineers at the two engineering offices in Grinde and Voll, integrated in a flat organization. The whole Imenco group employs 70 engineers spread on our different design offices in Norway and UK.
Our main work is to be the mechanical development centre of the Imenco sphere and to design the products and systems that will be the future of Imenco.
As we are seeing a constant increase in contracts and client requests, we are expanding and are now looking for a dynamic and solution-oriented colleague with senior design experience and a creative mindset.
To work in multidisciplinary project teams with mechanical development of new systems and products.
To design and verify your solutions through technical engineering studies and testing.
To be part of all stages of the project design development.
To meet clients to develop concept solutions based on client requests and sales engineer’s input.
To become acquainted with Imenco’s vast catalogue of products and systems to adapt and modify for new applications within Imenco’s focussed business areas Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas and Aquaculture.
To developing concept solutions for clients together with our sales engineers.
To be a cornerstone in the continued development of Imenco Engineering Projects.
Be a part of the installation onsite teams for EPC contracts.
Engineering Bsc or Msc in relevant discipline such as:
Minimum 5 years design experience from mechanical design, topside and/or subsea engineering experience
Case studies and design reports to support your designs
Engineering and design in project teams
Experience of CAD system, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is favourable
Comfortable with project teams work towards set deadlines
Stress resilient and able to multitask
Ability to work in an international environment
Fluent in English
