-The future is so bright, we have to wear shades

The Sea-Air-Space Exposition of 2024 in Maryland, is based on a tradition that began in 1965 in Washington, D.C. This event, organized annually by the Navy League of the United States, stands as the largest maritime exposition in the nation. Its inception was aimed at fostering meaningful connections between the United States defense industrial base, private-sector companies, and key decision-makers from the sea services. Over the decades, Sea-Air-Space has evolved into a cornerstone event that not only supports the Navy League’s mission of maritime policy education but also strengthens sea service support through dynamic and innovative platforms.

-Sea Air Space 2024, proved to be an outstanding showcase for Imenco Future Technologies Group, as we engaged with both new and familiar faces in the bustling halls of the Washington DC exhibition, says Shannon Giagnorio, Director of Business Development – Americas. She explains how Imenco seized the opportunity to delve into discussions with visitors, identify potential partners, and explore alternative suppliers for critical components.

 Important contract

For Imenco UK CCTV Group, the event served as a platform to bolster brand visibility, especially following the recent milestone of securing the US (United States) Navy DHOSS Naval Camera System 5-year IDIQ contract award. Leveraging this momentum, the team engaged in fruitful customer meetings, generating a wave of fresh sales leads that promise exciting prospects in the days ahead.

In the realm of aviation, Imenco highlighted its prowess in refueling capabilities across missile, aircraft, and helicopter refueling products. Visitors were impressed by the breadth and depth of Imenco’s offerings, underscoring the company’s commitment to delivering top-notch solutions tailored to diverse needs.

Enjoying the view: A lot of spectators used the opportunity to see the solar eclipse

Witnessing the solar eclipse

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the exhibition, attendees were also treated to a celestial spectacle as a solar eclipse graced the skies on Monday, April 8th. Positioned strategically near the front doors, the Imenco booth provided the perfect vantage point to witness this rare phenomenon, complete with branded solar eclipse glasses—a testament to Imenco’s innovative approach to enhancing the exhibition experience.

The Imenco team had prepared glasses for attendees at the exhibition, to ensure an optimal and safe experience of the solar phenomenon. Judging from the response from the participants, this became a very popular effort with all glasses being delivered to eager observers.

-This kind of also reflects how we experience the market situation right now, the future is so bright we have to wear shades, jokes Shannon Giagnorio.

Beyond business dealings, Sea Air Space 2024 fostered valuable connections among Imenco colleagues and sales dealers, facilitating networking opportunities and strengthening camaraderie among team members.
